Mindfulness for Chronic Pain

Natasha has put together a bespoke series of mindfulness tracks for chronic pain.

The series consists of eight tracks, approximately 15 minutes each, which are designed to be listened to over eight days. The concepts will benefit anyone, however the series is phrased in such a way that it will help you particularly if you experience chronic pain.

Mindfulness is a technique you can learn to help you deal with stressors and triggers in a more effective way. If you practice mindfulness regularly it becomes more than just a technique, it becomes a way of life.

Clinical trials have shown that mindfulness meditation can be as effective as prescription painkillers, and can enhance the body’s natural healing systems. Mindfulness can also reduce the anxiety, depression, irritability, exhaustion, and insomnia that arises from chronic pain.

Natasha is accredited with SIRPA (Stress Illness Recovery Practitioners Association) . The concepts and practices of mindfulness-based stress reduction and mindfulness-based cognitive therapy are key components of a program of recovery from persistent and chronic pain.
