Somatic Journaling: A Step by Step Guide

Somatic Journaling

Writing can be a powerful tool in mind body work because it bridges cognitive understanding, emotional processing, and somatic awareness.

To keep a somatic journal is to make space to pause, notice and record what your body is experiencing, rather than just the story your mind tells about your day.

Think of it as a conversation with your body: the more you listen, the more it communicates with you.

Just a few lines a day, describing posture, breath, tension, or energy, builds resilience, awareness and choice.
